Tony, aka YON T, aka Lilhotpocket, aka Da Skinny Pimp, was born and raised in the Chicago land area (Aurora IL) He began writing lyrics and putting rhymes together at the early age of 10, leading him to record his first song at 12. In 2017 Tony officially began releasing bangers on SoundCloud as Yontlilhotpocket, but later shortened his moniker to YON T. He has drawn inspiration from genres such as dirty south rap, phonk, indie garage rock, UK alternative pop, and underground hip hop, giving him a unique sound to claim as his own. Although he is considered a “rap artist," YON T joined the alternative indie band “Vacants” in the summer of 2021 as a guitarist/bassist. All in all; YON T is music, basically.
